Matrix Training Banner

Matrix offers custom or bespoke training courses for engineering/electronics and automotive departments and industry customers in the UK covering the Locktronics and E-blocks product ranges including our popular Flowcode software.

Location

Training can be provided at our new fully equipped training facility at our headquarters in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Alternatively our trainers can come to you and offer on-site training for up to 20 delegates.

John Dobson

John Dobson trainer
  • B.Eng. in electronic engineering
  • Worked for several years as a development engineering on television, Hi-fi and satellite decoder projects
  • Founder member of Eldon Technology (now Echostar Europe) in 1988
  • Founded Matrix Technology Solutions in 1993
  • Currently Managing Director of Matrix Technology Solutions Ltd.

John Verrill

John Verrill trainer
  • Left university with a physics degree
  • Worked as an electrical engineer for EMI in TV camera development
  • Teacher for most of his working life - teaching physics / electronics / programming
  • Cisco trained and certified Regional Academy Instructor
  • Oracle trained and certified Academy Instructor (database and Java programming)
  • Curriculum writer for Locktronics modules

Steve Tandy

Steve Tandy trainer
  • Matrix employee since 1997
  • B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • PGCE for Further Education
  • Over 10 years experience developing hardware and firmware
  • Over 15 years experience developing Windows-based software
  • Lead developer and system architect for Flowcode (v3 to v5)
  • Currently Head of R&D at Matrix TS
