E-blocks2 dsPIC Programmer
The 16-bit dsPIC microcontroller programmer connects to a PC via USB to provide a powerful microcontroller programming and debugging platform.
The 16-bit PIC programmer (BL0032) can be used with various programming languages including Assembly, C and Flowcode. To program the dsPIC on the board a free tool called mLoader is available.
The board comes complete with a powerful dsPIC33EP256MU806 microcontroller. The board presents all port pins collected together as E-blocks2 sockets. The board takes power from an external power supply or from the micro USB port.
By using our conversion board, BL0119 this board can also be used with our original E-blocks downstream boards. Please note that the E-blocks2 AutoID functionality will not work with E-blocks version 1 downstream boards.
New features in E-blocks2 include:
- Power now routed via the connector - no more flying leads
- Board auto ID functionality
- Flowcode automatic project set up
- Smaller footprint using up to date surface mount technology
- Over current resettable fuse protection
Ghost
The E-blocks2 dsPIC Programmer is compatible with Ghost technology. Using the board with Flowcode allows the use of the advanced Ghost debugging features including in circuit debugging, real time pin monitoring and bus decoding.
