The PLC Adapter range of products by Matrix TSL has been primarily designed to allow users to connect the Pneumatics range of products to their 3rd party PLC of choice. It acts as an interface between the PLC and Pneumatics hardware, allowing the standard 4mm cables used on Pneumatics to be connected to the screw terminals on your PLC.
The HP6700 allows you to simply and easily connect 8 inputs from your PLC. Users connect their Pneumatics hardware to the HP6700 through standard 4mm sockets, colour-coded for ease of use, while the PLC is connected to the HP6700 via standard screw terminals.
All products in the PLC Adapter range feature a convenient 50mm DIN rail fixing to allow attachment to the HP6785 mounting bracket.
Although designed to allow PLCs to interface with our Pneumatics range of pneumatics learning resources, these PLC add-ons can be used in any situation where students are connecting PLCs to other equipment and the tutor wants to minimise potential damage from errors in wiring to the PLC.
