Data Acquisition

The Matrix Data Acquisition Box is a universal interface for the Universal Testing Machine, Torsion Testing Machine, Rotating Fatigue Machine and Universal and Torsional Vibration apparatus providing a single platform for reliable data capture.

It is included as standard with all relevant products, ensuring every system is ready for digital data acquisition out of the box.

Software

Direct integration with Matrix software enables real-time acquisition, analysis, and visualisation without extra hardware or software.

It captures key mechanical test data including:

  • Elongation and extension
  • Deformation (strain)
  • Applied force / load
  • Torque, angle, and fatigue cycle data

Materials Solutions

Matrix Strength of Materials range offers a comprehensive set of experimental apparatus that allows students to investigate material behaviour under diverse loading conditions.

Designed to meet engineering and TVET curriculum outcomes, the systems combine robust, industrial-standard hardware with precise measurement and data acquisition, enabling reliable, hands-on learning of core concepts including stress, strain, elasticity, plasticity, fatigue, hardness, creep, torsion, bending, and shear.
