Robot Arm Pendant programming (French)

CP9125

This course consists of a number of worksheets that take students through the concepts of robot arm programming using a pendant controller. Students are guided through the concepts of robot arm workspace, program creation, relative and absolute coordinates, subroutines, conditional branches and G code programming. No text entry is required.

All programming is carried out through the Matrix robot arm pendant controller software which runs on any Windows PC or
tablet. The pendant programming software communicates with the Matrix robot arm over USB, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Program entry is simple and no prior knowledge of G code is needed.

The course, pendant programmer software and robot arm are suitable as a standalone course in robot arm programming. The
course will be useful to students programming the Matrix smart factory which has a robot arm included: students can program the
smart factory using third party PLC software and use the pendant programming software for robot arm control. The robot arm and pendant software use two inputs on the robot arm to allow the PLC to communicate with the robot arm at appropriate points in the smart factory program.
