Three Phase Systems v2.0 – French

This kit includes a suite of practical investigations into three phase systems and it includes a low voltage analogue three phase generator and low voltage three phase motor. These have been developed as part of the new Electrical Machines and Drives product range from Matrix. The pack includes the parts needed to set up three phase systems based on star and delta topologies with balanced and unbalanced loads. Students work through a workbook, which develops understanding of three phase concepts.

The new three-phase control box now includes full data acquisition capabilities, allowing real-time monitoring and analysis of motor performance (when used in conjunction with the Matrix digital drive control box EM4404). Key characteristics such as voltage, current, and power across all three phases can be accessed directly from the control box and transmitted to a PC.. This enhanced functionality enables more precise diagnostics, performance optimization, and predictive maintenance.

A built-in oscilloscope provides a clear visual representation of phase changes, helping users track fluctuations, identify imbalances, and troubleshoot issues with greater accuracy. Unlike the previous version, which lacked data acquisition, this advanced control box delivers detailed insights, improving efficiency, reliability, and ease of operation.

Optional instruments for this kit include 4 input oscilloscope and current clamp.
