The Battery Management System (BMS) carrier allows students to safely charge standard 3.7V Lithium Ion (li-ion) batteries such as the Locktronics LK2265 battery which is based on a 18650 cell. The BMS charges up to three sets of cells in a series configuration. When any one set of cells reaches 4.2V then the BMS shuts down. A 12V 1A DC power supply is needed.
