This component consists of PIC microcontroller mounted in a rugged Locktronics carrier. It has an LCD screen and four buttons on the front panel and connects four general-purpose input/output pins to the Locktronics circuit. It comes pre-loaded with a suite of automotive ECU programs that are selectable from the front panel and used in curriculums CP8408 and CP5937.
