The Automatics reed switch is designed to be used in conjunction with the cylinders from the product range. All of the Automatics cylinders have a magnetised band within the cylinder assembly. The reed switch clips over the cylinder body, enabling the cylinder position to be sensed magnetically. When the cylinder activates the reed switch, it closes an electrical contact which can then be connected to a control circuit via the 4mm sockets.
