The Torsional Oscillation Module supports multiple torsional experiments with interchangeable steel and brass rods.​
It mounts to the Universal Vibration Frame and includes a movable disc plus solid and split rings to vary moment of inertia. The lower end can be set free or fixed, and an adjustable clamp changes rod length to study its effect on oscillation frequency. ​
A protractor measures angular deflection, while a support frame, damping cylinder, and tank enable controlled damping. All clamps and adaptors are included.
