The diaphragm valve works rather like an electrical relay – allowing a low pressure air source to switch on and off the full air pressure needed to operate cylinders.
Air pressure detected at the pilot input switches on the air pressure, and a spring returns the valve to the exhaust postion when the pilot pressure is removed.
A fitted silencer ensures quiet and clean operation.
