Eblocks 3 Board Set PIC WEB

(PIC-Compatible Microcontroller Education)

This latest generation of EBlocks hardware is designed to support the

teaching and learning of Embedded systems development: from first

principles through to the development of internet enabled systems.

Upstream boards all include a colour touch screen display, integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and an SD memory card interface (under the display).

Input output lines on the 8 bit ports are presented on 14 pin connectors. This allows input output lines, power, ground reset, and the auto ID bus to be wired up correctly when a downstream board is plugged in. The Auto ID lines ensure that, for Flowcode users, as soon as a downstream board or sensor is connected, Flowcode is automatically configured with the correct hardware: no confusion about wiring or settings. The kit is also compatible with Microchip’s standard C programming IDE.

There are around 30 boards in the EBlocks range which includes the most popular peripherals used in electronic design. Grove and MikroBUS interface boards provide access to thousands of additional peripherals. Ruggedness, for open labs, is provided using plastic base plates and covers for the main boards to ensure that your hardware lasts well in the lab.

Supported with a PIC microcontroller: the easiest for learners, and the best for teaching binary and chip bit / port architecture in an 8 bit context. Remappable pins for comms and PWM make peripheral connection super easy.

Key Features:

  • Program in Flowcode, C, or Assembly
  • Serial debugger compatible
  • 420 x 380 colour graphical touch screen display
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and SD card included
  • ‘Plug and play’ Auto ID technology for Flowcode users
